Application
Public taps are intended for outdoor installation and use, e.g. in parks, at playgrounds, outdoor sports stadiums, or other types of rest and recreation areas.
If temperatures below the water freezing point occur in winter, remove the public tap or secure it against damage from freezing by isolating the water supply and draining (by underground hydrant), or by connecting the public tab to a water-meter well with winter drainage.
